The best place on the north shore for Chinese food. Very clean. Friendly service. Nice portions. Consistently yummy food. We won’t eat anywhere but here!

Great food, great staff

Delicious Friday night. Returned next day with friends. Stop! Nothing like the day before. Hot & sour soup made with that fake brown mix and very sweet., Horrible Manderine chicken. Shrimp w/lobster sauce, (thawed frozen shrimp not quite cooked). I was embarrassed I recommended the place. Waitess walked off--other employees could not find her. Too many choices for good food to settle for this dining experience.

The food was really good but the wait staff... Two of them are vegan/vegetarian and were talking about documentaries showing the abuse of animals to convince customers in the next booth over to stop eating meat. The ladies were not interested and even requested the servers to stop talking about it. I found it uncomfortable. Would I return? I'm still undecided because the food was good, but I don't want to feel judged for my meal choices... Not do I want to hear about animal abuse in (some) slaughter houses.

By far this is the worst Chinese restaurant I’ve ever ate at. Me and my girls ordered sweet and sour chicken, the sauce usually comes on the side but they covered our chicken in this bright red (sweet and sour sauce) made all the breading on the chicken fall off and it soggy! They used way too much sauce and the sauce wasn’t that good. Don’t know if it was just that day that was bad but I don’t think we’ll be back to try it a second time.

Great food, alot of choices for vietnamese and Chinese dishes. Authentic flavors and nice size portions. Family owned business that cares about their restaurant! Loved the pho that I chose to try for the first time. Also their shrimp appetizer was very tasty.

One off my absolute favorite restaurants. I am a home town girl who no longer lives there but each trip back home to visit family it’s a must that we have dinner here!! I love the mandarin chicken the gravy is awesome on it. Plentiful enough that diner can also make lunch the next day. Wait staff is amazing and treat you like family. One of our favorite waitresses recently passed away but she will always be remembered for the laughs that she created during our visit there. I highly recommended Northshore Empress ! if you have not eaten here, it’s a must that you try it out! 5🌟

Place is awesome! Food can compare to other pho restaurants,just a little better. SERVICE or at least at the bar is top notch ,never have I seen such attentive personel. Definitely will be back !

Peanut sauce is divine. I ordered "summer rolls" (cellophane rolls) not on the menu with peanut sauce...wonderful. Kung Bo shrimp and pork was also exemplary.

The most wonderful authentic Chinese and Vietnamese food. Everything down to the Sweet&Sour and Mustard Sauce made on site. Egg Rolls are must try! Best I’ve ever had!

I always have a great experience when I come here. Tonight I bought my family in to celebrate my sons birthday. The mixed drinks were great and the food was amazing as always, plus the customer service was exceptional.

Always a great experience at this place. Staff is excellent, food is excellent and price low for the quality.
